Primarily a landscape consultation, garden coach/garden assistant & landscape design business.
Most of my clients are involved in their yards and plant or assist in planting.
My formal education is in Ornamental Horticulture from Utah State University. I have several years experience consulting with hundreds of clients and designing, planting, and maintaining such diverse gardens as herb, flower, native, and show gardens for individuals, businesses, and gardens open for public use. I have worked on a variety of projects buy my true love is herbs, edible landscapes, and teaching others to have the best lawn or landscape possible. I also teach classes on garden related subjects including herb gardening, organic gardening and Square Foot Gardening. My own gardens have been organically maintained for 20+years.

I grew up on one acre in Colorado and had the experience, along with my siblings, of planting and weeding our large garden of mostly corn, tomatoes, and zucchini. I have since gardened and done landscape work in Alaska and Utah. While growing up I also grew sweet peppers and sprouted wheat to sell to the food co-op.
My introduction to organic gardening came about through a magazine my parents subscribed to. My love of herbs first came about when I experimented with using dried herbs in cooking while growing up. I read a magazine article about Square Foot Gardening many years ago and have used that method since. A few years ago I received training to be a Certified Square Foot Garden instructor from the Square Foot Garden Foundation. I love teaching people easy and fun ways to grow their own food and better, safer ways to tend their yards.
